These are the well known sessions that Miles Davis recorded in1952 and 1953 and that set the jazz trend of the Sixties. Davis is hereaccompanied by J.J. Johnson on trombone, Gil Coggins on piano,Jackie McLean on tenor sax, Oscar Pettiford on double bass andKenny Clarke on drums whereas in the alternate takes the CDfeatures Jimmy and Percy Heath and Art Blakey in place of McLean,Pettiford and Clarke respectively.
