This influential Alan Silva album was recorded live at Studio 104/Maison De L’O.R.T.F. in Paris on December 29th, 1970 and originally released on the legendary BYG imprint. Here Silva and co. bring the orchestral wall of sound to the limit in a wild and forward thinking masterwork of structured improvisation - with Bassist Silva conducting and performing on range of exotic string instruments. The orchestra features kings and queens of the Avant-Garde/ Free Music scene among them: Lester Bowie, Joseph Jarman, Steve Lacy, Roscoe Mitchell, Dave Burrell, Don Moye, Bernard Vitet, Alan Shorter, Ronnie Beer, Robin Kenyatta, Michel Portal, Dieter Gewissler, Jouk Minor, Kent Carter, Irene Aebi, Joachim Kuhn, Jerome Cooper and Oliver Johnson.
